If you can't reach a mutually agreeable resolution, you go to court - end of story. If you have a dispute with a company you've signed a contract with, you negotiate with them in private. Yep, just like the Frogwares Sinking City situation, the publisher appears to be completely in the right legally and ethically, and the developer just doesn't want to abide by a contract they signed and so goes running to the gaming public to unprofessionally distort the situation and try to build up unwarranted public backing for their unethical, unprofessional behavior. They just want him to actually abide by the contract he signed. The publisher isn’t even fining him for his tantrum. PCGamer updated their article at the bottom.
